HocoBlog-tail party at Pure Wine Cafe

It's been ages, dah-link! Ages since we've had a HocoBlogs' BlogTail party. And, I'm so hoping you'll be able to join us. Frank Hecker, who blogs at Frank Hecker, Living with a case of intellectual ADD is my co-host, and is one of the friends and dear people I've been delighted to meet through local blogging.

We'll be mixing and mingling at Pure Wine Cafe on Wednesday, June 2nd, from 6:15 - 7:45 p.m.,

As always, drinks and food and what you consume are your choice. For the HocoBlog-tail parties, we like to choose locally owned restaurants, as a general -- but not strict rule -- and can bet that the restaurants appreciate your support. Whether you're dropping the big bucks, or just buying a light appetizer, we can all help local businesses with social capital. Here's how you can help: 

• Blog about the event on your own blog.
• Post to your Facebook Howard County friends list (you do have one of those, don't you?), news of the party, whether you're attending or not. Facebook status updates plus a link (either to this party invitation or to Pure Wine Cafe's website) provide a simple, easy way to share your (social capital) wealth.
• Tweet, tweet and tweet. Use the hashtags #hocomojo, #TheHoco and/or #hocoblogs in your tweets.
• If you have a smart phone, install the FourSquare app ahead of time. Prefer Gowalla, BrightKite or another geo-location-style app, no sweat. (Personally, I think FourSquare has some legs now, and that's what I'm using, but choose as you will.)
• And, if you're really feeling generous with your social capital and wanting to give a little more love to Pure Wine Cafe, consider posting a comment about the place on one of the local blogs that already has a write-up on the place. You'll find some of them at --
